I Can't Contain Myself----- ('Street Parade')-----

So the new Theresa Andersson came out today----- ('Street Parade')----- it's awful.




Suffice it to say- this is pivotal b/c (1)- my blog- this very here---- is dedicated to her. 2. I had such high hopes- this was an album (i was obviously)- most anticipating this year. what a dud.


I don't say that lightly, I say that sadly.


There is one good song- and i mean ONE. like stellar, shining song--- n that is 'Listen to My Heels'.

The other 'good ones' are 'Hold On To Me', 'Fiya's Gone', and 'January'. ---- thats it!


As much as it pains me to write this........ (i have to)----- i have to be honest. There are other songs like 'Endymion' that have such great potential- some reallyyyyyyyyy beautiful sections- the instrumentation is just outrageous...... n gorgeous......... but.................. (just not there yet).


I feel like this album is just not done, it's incomplete- it's still in the 'beginning' or middle stages. But not there yet. Has loadsssssssssssss of potential though- maybe in a year or so, this album will be 'done'. It's not yet, though.

As for the other songs---- they're just meandering----- sounds. No real melody. They're almost abstract,,, I think there are songs in there--- she just hasn't found them yet. It's a sad situation- I hope she 'redoes' this album, b/c I think it could be something.
