On: Producing

So this week marks my first forray in to................... record producing!




Its sort of always been a backburner dream of mine- and when the opportunity basically came knocking a few months ago.. i jumped.

Its a new artist in terms of the industry but he is a seasoned, professional musician. Probably the rawest, some of the most underrated yet amazing talent ive come across. Sorely underrated and its a travesty the industry is blind to him.

I see a lot of potential and this week has been recording stuff, in Central Park.

We recorded in a tunnel that had great acoustics great for natural reverb n stuff and I am just very excited to see where this goes/ if anywhere. I'm getting good feedback from people too, as the others, well 1 on this, the sound engineer is a professional in sound industry for 30+ years, and he's keeping me on track and giving great feedback yet giving me complete reign and freedom. They both told me I am natural and have an ear for this thing.. which really meant a lot coming from them. I am excited to see where this new endeavor goes, maybe its too soon to talk about, but I wanna get out there just how thrilled I am to even be working on this, and been given this kind of opportunity that I've secretly dreamt about doing for about 7 years now.

The opportunity literally came in a shiny box at my doorstep, and I had to pick it up and run with it and see where it goes, if anywhere. If nothing else I've made 2 great new friends. #toNewEndeavors. :))))) !
