Lately.........................

I'm listening/have been listening to a lot of middle eastern/bhangra/punjabi.............. a LOT. i don't know what it is................................. sort of like my 'zumba' phase....................... (which isn't really a phase-but more, a 'self-discovery' -in music))-- b/c i still love 'zumba music'........... (n probly always will)......... anywho, yeah just listening to so mUCH middle eastern rhythms stuff..................... i really hear it/dream it-- in POP music..................... i do. ....... in a dream world-- middle eastern music abides in Pop.............. (more). there isn't enough, and i think that has some exploring to do. ......... part of me, wants to lock myself in a lab n (be the one)- to do this 'exploring'. it's kind of freaking me out (if i don't). i hear it................... it's on the tip of my................................................... tongue................................. ? ear?......

Just an idea I have--- got yesterday while driving- road trip. I want to hold 'Song Circles'--- in my living room.................... like in a 'dreamworld'

In the past 2 (saturdays)-- I've heard more good music--than i think i have.......................... all year.



Been checking out a new station on 'pandora'--called 'bhangra'........... it's actually nOT what u think................... its a lot of unheard bands (ive literally nEVER heard of)--n like........... indie stuff........... with a little 'bhangra'--mixed in...... ha! anyway.... i sort of one day typed in 'bhangra' in to pandora..... (xpecting/'wanting'..bhangra/punjabi music)----n......... thats what came up................... this really under(under)-ground indie stuff............. thats................. a mazing..................n (i cant believe ive never heard of before)........................ namely: (i was introduced to)--Sin Fang, Takka Takka, lots of icelandic stuff (oddly enough), n some i cant remember right now

how........................ when i was on my walk the other day-it hit me. -those are my 'favorite' kind of songs................................... 'shapeless'---that then 'shape'. i like an undulating beat, that sort of lingers, and then (as song progresses)-takes shape-forming the song. -this where i like/am obsessed with songs that 'take their time'. ---b/c thats what happens -(inevitably). a song that 'gains' structure.................................... its the best kind of song, and i heard it the other day in chris lake's 'only one' -song (some remix)--- i really love that tune.

So i was thinking the other day..............................................................

................how, there should be a 'scholarship'-for those related/bloodline/of bjork/joanna newsom. .................there should be some kind of 'music scholarship'-for that. ....just as there are, for native american (indians)-n so forth...................................
